Most exhibits were bar codes or stop signs. As a Fine Artist, I fail to see how it inspires or brings out any emotion from a viewer.
Two rooms of contemporary art in a Cesar Pelli-designed folly in the plaza of the PDC.
Parking for this location would be located at the PDC building, which isn't free if you're not working there or having a meeting with a client in the green building. But definitely make your way here if you have an awesome artist you want to check out!
It's a small museum. But they have great stuff. I'm not usually into guided tours, but one was starting and I thought... "might as well...". Was I surprised! I learned a lot.
Great architectural buildings. Unique. A very memorable day! I loved the Pacific Design Center!
I've had the pleasure of working at the Pacific Design Center for 4.5 years before departing recently so I've had the chance to check out a few interesting exhibitions - both great and meh.
This MOCA location can be a hit or miss with their exhibitions. It's free so I cannot complain about that at all but the quality (at least in my opinion) is really unstable. You never know what you'll walk into.
