Fairly good place. Usually we'll kept. Other owners are good at controlling their dogs. Basically no big groups of dog walker dogs.
Nice local dog park. Friendly owners. 90% are attentive and responsible.
This is a great park for groups, children, animals, sports. Lots of space and gardens to walk around in. Great for exercise and all the festivals it holds. Bring a picnic and jackets. It gets cold more often than not. Also bring a blanket to sit on.
Good experience for dogs and companion. Plenty of shade and breezes.
I love coming out here to get my runs in. Less crowded than memorial park jogging trail and I think the scenery is better. There are some minor incline hills, so if you are training for a run it is a bit more challenging and more fun than just training on a flat track. The trail is total is just over 6 miles I believe...it goes into downtown past the Aquarium and wraps around by Memorial/Kirby. There is a bike path and a jogging path. Also has a nice dog park.
