Large selection of dog and cat foods and a pretty good selection of other basic items despite being housed in a relatively small space. There's a small parking lot on the side, which is good for those who drive. The location is also convenient for bus riders, since a number of bus lines run up and down Santa Monica Blvd. You might want to comparison shop online before buying certain items here such as pet beds, carriers, etc. unless you can afford not to care. But the prices on pet food and most other items are competitive, and some of the brands they carry aren't available at a lot of large pet stores. In an era where you often have to shop online to find the things you want, it's nice to be able to walk into a brick and mortar store and to have a wide selection of alternatives.
